Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Qatar has encouraged worshippers to perform the Eclipse Prayer in mosques after Isha prayer during the lunar eclipse.
This prayer is a confirmed Sunnah and its time extends from the start of the eclipse until it concludes.
Qatar is expected to experience a total lunar eclipse on Sunday, September 7, 2025, beginning at 8:30 pm and lasting for one hour and 22 minutes.
