Doha, Qatar: The highly awaited celestial event, a total lunar eclipse, is approaching, and on this occasion, Qatar Museums, in collaboration with the Qatar Calendar House, is organising a special event to witness this rare occurrence on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the Museum of Islamic Art Park.
The event will feature advanced astronomical equipment and support services for a free visitor experience. The eclipse starts at 7:27 pm with the partial phase, followed by the total eclipse at 8:31 pm, peaking at 9:12 pm, and ending at 9:53 pm. The partial eclipse will end at 10:56 pm.
The entire eclipse, including partial phases, will last about 3 hours and 29 minutes.
