Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department (QMD) has announced that Monday, September 22, will signify the astronomical end of summer and the commencement of autumn.
The department highlighted that on this date, the sun will be positioned directly over the equator, resulting in moderated temperatures and an increased probability of local rain clouds.
Furthermore, the department emphasised that during the autumnal equinox, the duration of daylight and nighttime will be equal.
