Doha, Qatar: Qatar is ranked 48th in the 2025 Global Innovation Index by WIPO. The index assesses economies based on seven pillars, such as Institutions, Human Capital and Research, Infrastructure, Market Sophistication, Business Sophistication, Knowledge and Technology Outputs, and Creative Outputs.
Qatar has improved its ranking from 70th to 48th over six years, demonstrating significant progress in fostering innovation.
The advancement in ranking underscores the nation's commitment to fostering innovation, research, and development as integral components of its transition towards a knowledge-based and innovation-driven economy.
