Doha, Qatar: The highly anticipated 10th edition of the Local Dates Festival, organised by Souq Waqif Management and the Ministry of Municipality, is gearing up to begin on July 24, 2025. The event will run until August 7, 2025, at the Eastern Square of Souq Waqif, showcasing a diverse array of local date varieties and products.
Last year's edition was a resounding success, featuring participation from over 110 local farms and drawing more than 50,000 visitors. An impressive 240,172 kilograms of dates were also sold during the previous edition.
Visitors can enjoy the festival daily from 4 p.m. onwards, with free entry.
